Role Description:

Supports the Chain's team, Creates and plans commercial and operational activities to positively impact and reach set KPIs and targets for assigned accounts. Applies data analysis to prioritize tasks and projects to maximize impact. Frequently collaborates closely with a number of other departments in the organization, including the Central Partner Services Global Accounts and Operations teams, Local Partner Services team, the Connectivity team, and other regional chains teams. Maintains relationships with stakeholders to achieve mutually set business KPIs or outcomes, often through long-term planning and execution throughout the year.

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Influence and impact Chains' team targets and foundational performance KPIs of assigned portfolios, such as Pricing and Availability competitiveness, Products, and Program Adoption
  • Set and achieve Selection targets for Chain portfolios through ensuring all existing and new properties are acquired, listed, and bookable on our platform
  • Data analysis: Interpreting data and insights to detect and highlight opportunities to influence, drive results, and increase strategic product and program adoption
  • Prepare for, join and lead operational and commercial calls with enterprise clients and in-person business review sessions to explain, educate and advocate for process improvement, projects, implementation, and overall account optimization.
  • Providing quality support to all stakeholders, providing innovative solutions to roadblocks, and managing escalations and compatibility challenges.
  • Serve as commercial backup for Senior Key Account Managers or Key Account Managers, including leading calls or completing action plans with a partner and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare, deliver and maintain written communications, presentations, and other educational/reference materials to influence, support, and educate Local Partner Services Teams to succeed with chain partnerships.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Fluent in English & Japanese, written & spoken
  • Several years of related experience in the hotel or online travel industry, understanding the hotel industry.
  • Specialized knowledge of attributes and functioning of Booking.com products and their associated partner value proposition
  • Strong data analysis skills, in-depth knowledge of reporting tools
  • Confident communicator, strong written and verbal communication, and public speaking skills
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight as well as being a team player
  • At least 4 years of sales operations or commercial operations role experience required
