Role Description:
We are currently looking for an Office Manager for Events. In our Amsterdam Campus there are many internal events which we are facilitating. It starts with receiving the request in our ticketing system, processing the requests, doing face to face intake conversations and managing all vendors (such as cleaning, catering and guarding) in order to make the event successful. For bigger events you are the operational contact person and present during the event at the office.

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Task Execution: Manage the flawless and timely execution of operational event related tasks according to guidelines, processes, and contracts to ensure an efficiently to run the office together with the events team. You organise events from A to Z individually and with the team. This includes supporting day-to-day on-site operations. In your role it is key to coordinate/manage on-site vendors in order to make the events a success.
- Community and Event Services: Support in planning in-office community events such as social gatherings, Town Hall meetings and Q&A sessions.
- You are part of the wider Office Management team and within this team we work in topics, it could be possible that at a later point in time your commitment is needed for another office management topics such as Soft Services, Hard Services, in the Welcoming Area or in the Service Area.
- The Office Management team plays a big role in the Emergency Response Organisation and acts when a calamity in the office occurs such as an evacuation or a medical incident.

- Comprehensive Understanding and Community Building: Possess a deep understanding of all aspects of Workplace Services and focus on building strong communities within the organization.
- Employee-Centric Approach: Maintain an attitude and mindset dedicated to taking care of Booking.com employees, enabling them to focus on and deliver their best work.
- Complaint and Concern Management: Handle complaints and concerns with sensitivity and care.
