Due to internal growth, we're currently hiring a Market Team Manager for our Tbilisi office who will manage a team of talented Account Executives and Managers while collaborating with the Area Manager to improve hotel availability and supply for this quickly growing and exciting region.

The Market Team Manager is responsible for managing, coaching and developing high performing teams by maximizing business results to achieve team KPIs and company targets. Responsible for driving operational excellence amongst their team by fully understanding all aspects of local operations to maximize efficiency. Reinforce application of the global strategy to the assigned team to ensure continuous business development towards the commercial objectives of the company.
Responsibilities
- Lead and continuously develop a team of Partner-facing roles (Account Managers, Account Executives, Coordinators) in order to achieve both organizational and team targets.
- Effective objectives setting in line with company priorities and market needs
- Hiring, performance management, succession planning, talent development in the team
- Be the expert on the operational side to drive achievement of commercial goals for your team.
- Leading the team in achieving business goals by guiding and coaching them in delivering our services to partners.
- Ensure and enable the team is applying commercial and operational Booking.com frameworks within their day-to-day
- Role modeling company values and 3 mindsets(Protagonist, One team, Learner)
- Establish ties with partners through accompanying team members on visits, events and industry conferences.
- Be the market expert on the industry by understanding the spectrum of the competitors and the landscape of partners.
- Lead the organization of partner events with the objective to drive business results.
- Identifying and supporting local priorities and executing company`s strategy in the dedicated team & markets
Requirements of special knowledge/skills
- 2+ years of people management experience in sales, hospitality or account management teams
- People management skills
- Performance management skills
- Change management skills; ability to embed change within daily operations
- Strong commercial and analytical skills
- Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
- Hospitality industry knowledge
- Frequent travel is required
- Fluent English is required
- Georgian is a must, authorization to work in Georgia is a must
