Role Description:The Compliance, Risk and Control team drives risk management and guides CS in the evolving regulatory environment in order to identify and mitigate risks and to safeguard the interests of the business as well as the customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Review CS Payment Escalations in line with existing mentorship and internal policies;
- Contribute to the Payment Compliance backlog staying within the important metrics;
- Use a combination of manual investigation and automated tools to analyze various data, based on the TL request;
- Perform daily, weekly data analysis for CS payment compliance review;
- Provide feedback to CS Operations and CS Finance team members with regard to payment review processes;
- Work successfully with team members, sharing ideas with peers and TL in a constructive and positive manner to improve the CS payment process.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in both spoken and written English; ability to speak another language in the EMEA region is an advantage.
- Strong attention to financial details, including currencies and amounts.
- Ability to stay focused during repetitive tasks, such as reviewing 40-50 cases a day.
- Quick understanding of guidelines and procedures, with a high level of accuracy in compliance with policies.
- Experience in an international, dynamic work environment is preferred, with familiarity with Booking.com internal and external Customer Service standards and guidelines being a significant plus.
- Must have strong decision-making abilities, be self-disciplined, credible, and have an affinity for complaint handling.
- Strong digital literacy, ability to prioritize incoming backlog and requests appropriately using clear communications, and flexibility to cope well with change.
NOTE: We are only considering local candidates for this role. In order to be considered for this role, you should have a valid residence & work permit that allows you to live and work in The Netherlands.
