The Executive Business Partner will partner with the VP and/or Sr Director to effectively manage the business unit cadence and provide high level administrative and tactical support to our leaders. This role is essential to enabling the VP and their senior LT to scale up by managing day to day & mid-term activities and creating the space for them to work on long term strategy.

This role will be fully responsible for ensuring the VP office is aware of deliverables and their timelines and communication is cascaded up & down as needed.

This position requires strategic thinking and business acumen as well as the ability to develop processes to facilitate short and long term planning and execution. Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, both internal and external, are a key aspect of this role. Must be skilled in cross-group collaboration at all levels with excellent communication skills and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Executive Partnering and Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor on individual and team dynamics, partnering directly with (S)VP and/or Sr Director to prioritize their activities based on business priorities.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Create, maintain, and influence relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to support business activities, including planning and executing communication initiatives in collaboration with Internal Communications
  • Business Unit Cadence and Governance: In partnership with PMOs, FP&A, and other relevant stakeholders, create the BU cadence, own the agenda, and plan forecasts on behalf of (S)VP. Continuously improve the design and governance of BU Leadership Team cadence with the Strategy Director.
  • Administrative and Logistical Support: Fully responsible for delegated tasks such as Workday, Concur, Ivalua, raising POs, adding vendors, and following up as needed. Oversee the planning of business travel needs for (S)VP & teams, including logistics and visas.
  • Leadership Meetings and Events: Assist in the end-to-end planning of leadership meetings and events, including offsites, all-hands, Q&As, and working sessions. Act as the leader's eyes and ears, identifying areas of concern or opportunities for internal communications.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience and Skills: 5-8 years of relevant experience in administration, operational, business support, or as an executive assistant, preferably in a large/multinational organization. Highly organized with excellent planning skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to daily schedules and routines.
  • Creative and Proactive: Demonstrates creative and 'out of the box' thinking to proactively drive business. Exhibits a commercially aware and results-driven attitude with an independent and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • People and Relationship Management: Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills, able to engage with people across all levels and from diverse backgrounds. Comfortable with ambiguity and able to prioritize and make decisions without having all the information.
  • Communication and Ethics: Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (additional languages are an advantage but not required). Strong ethics and the ability to handle confidential matters with discretion, promoting Booking.com values and culture within the department.
  • Technical Proficiency and Flexibility: Proficient with G Suite, including Google Calendar, Google Sheets/Slides (or similar). Available to offer support outside of normal business hours or travel as required.
