We are seeking a Commercial Manager - RegTech with deep expertise in regulatory compliance and account management, who will work closely with Product and Tech teams to ensure seamless partner experiences and operational excellence.

Role Description:
As a Commercial Manager - RegTech, you will play a strategic role in managing key partner relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on compliance requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize the systems and processes that support partner verification and compliance. This role requires an in-depth understanding of KYC/KYB, a strong background in managing partner relationships, and the ability to deliver structured service reviews and insights that drive continuous improvement.
Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders (e.g., RegTech, Supplier Fraud Teams) and external vendors to optimize KYC, POA, and KYB solutions, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Develop and execute commercial strategies with vendors to achieve cost optimizations, expand services, and support Booking.com's long-term objectives.
- Negotiate, renew, and manage commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with legal, financial, and operational standards; conduct monthly service reviews and quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
- Provide expertise on compliance frameworks (e.g., DSA, DMA, DAC7), offering guidance to stakeholders and ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and market trends.
- Analyze vendor performance and regulatory trends, delivering actionable insights to improve compliance and partner satisfaction.
- Represent partner needs internally to drive product and process improvements aligned with feedback.
- Identify and mitigate potential compliance risks to ensure robust and secure systems and processes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 8+ years in compliance, account management, or a related field, preferably in the fintech, regtech, or travel sectors. Ideal candidates should have worked in regulated environments.
- Technical Acumen: Familiarity with the technical architecture and processes involved in KYC, POA, and KYB solutions.
- Compliance Expertise: Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, particularly in sectors such as financial services, hospitality, or technology.
- Account Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage complex partner relationships, lead service reviews, and drive alignment with business goals.
- Data-Driven Approach: Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics and drive data-informed decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven success in working with Product, Tech, and Compliance teams to deliver impactful solutions.
