We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Prime Brokerage Client Management to join our Pershing Institutional Solutions team. This role is available in Jersey City, NJ or Lake Mary, FL - HYBRID.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
There are three fundamental client responsibilities surrounding the Account Management role:
First, Account Managers introduce and provide direction to clients on Pershing's service model to ensure that prompt, informed answers are being provided for daily operational and regulatory needs. Account Managers also ensure escalated technology or service disruptions are being addressed and resolved timely
Secondly, Account Managers identify opportunities to deepen product penetration and attract additional assets - cash management and fund solutions, as well as lending, managed account, wealth management and trade execution products-into clients' existing or growing business
Lastly, Account Managers promote and facilitate the delivery of Pershing's robust, proprietary, front-end access platforms by developing a rollout plan, driving adoption and by capturing specific client technology enhancement requests for further development
- The Account Management role represents a core part of the relationship team that supports domestic and international broker dealer clients
- The Account Manager is expected to cultivate relationships between clients and Pershing's subject-matter experts to exchange knowledge and ideas to further develop clients' business
- This business technology responsibility also requires Account Managers to align and integrate clients' existing technology platforms and third-party service providers with Pershing's flexible technology and open architecture. Account Managers travel on business approximately 20% of the time
- Bachelor's degree and experience in the Financial Services industry and a Series 7 license (could obtain the Series 7 licensing within one year of employment to this position)

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $64,000 and $143,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
