We're seeking a future team members for the role within Corporate Treasury who will focus on Liquidity Management, Interest Rate Risk Management, Quantitative analysis, Stress testing, CCAR, Balance Sheet Management and more. This role is located in Pune or Chennai - Hybrid.
Corporate Treasury: Corporate Treasury manages capital, liquidity, and market risks to ensure that the firm has the resources to accomplish its business strategies and meet regulatory requirements in business as usual and stress. CT provides a variety of services across the firm including capital management, funding, liquidity risk management, asset liability management, balance sheet strategy, and Office of Recovery and Resolution Planning (ORRP)
In this role (Specialist/Senior Specialist/Group Manager), you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Provide SME support in various categories such as Intraday Liquidity, Deposit Liabilities, Interest Rate Risk, currency Risk, Capital Management etc.
- Review and develop policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and corporate guidance related to liquidity, capital and IRR aspects including underlying assumptions and limitations to risk management framework
- Collect financial data, validates, and populates various capital management, IRR, liquidity and asset/liability models or analyses
- Ensure legal entities are following their regulatory and/ or internal liquidity metric
- Develop and document liquidity self-assessments and liquidity funding contingency plans.
- Cultivates relationships with peers in the businesses, Risk Management, Finance and Corporate Treasury
- Provide expertise in Liquidity including liquidity assessments, analytical research, data gathering, modelling, and forecasting
- Focus on continuous improvement in the risk and control environment
- Design assumptions to model products and services through various stress cycles
- Support implementation of assumption changes, ongoing performance monitoring of Stress Testing
- Participate/Lead different projects focusing on opportunities to enhance risk measurement and/or reporting process
- Team/People Management
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline including Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics
- Minimum 5+ experience
- Highly proficient in Excel
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English
- Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethics
- Strong organizational skill, attention to detail and follow-through
- Excellent technical documentation and verbal communication skills
- Integrity, ethical standards, and sound judgement
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Self-starter who will push themselves to learn
- Master's degree or professional certification CFA/CPA/CA
- 5-15 years of Treasury of finance-related function sin a major financial institution or corporate
- Knowledge of VBA, SQL, Python
- Experience with large data flows and analytics, regulatory stress testing, and/or asset-liability management within large complex financial organizations
- QRM experience
