Overview

Supports all payroll processes for an assigned country or one small-scale payroll process for an assigned region. Participates in records management, preparation of payroll accounting documents and development of reports for management. Assists with the implementation of payroll policies and procedures that comply with all laws, policies and regulations within the country or region. Is developing familiarity with payroll taxation. May analyze payroll processes to suggest improvements. With direct supervision, may contribute to special projects. Ensures that all statutory regulations and payments to third parties including regulatory and taxing bodies are in compliance with country and/or regional law. Supports more senior professionals in the management of and negotiation with vendors, controllers, regulators, country managers and workers counsels. With guidance, assists with the implementation of benefits and compensation changes into the assigned country payroll system or adjusts the assigned payroll process to accommodate the change. Confirms the implementation procedure with more senior professionals. Supports the development of accounting schedules and contributes to data gathering in support of system efficiencies analyses. Completes assigned audit tasks as needed. No direct reports. Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 0-3 years of total work experience is preferred.
