How will your role help us transform hope into reality?
Reporting to the Director of Scientific Communications and Training, this newly created position will play a significant role in executing scientific communications strategies and tactics to enable the Medical Affairs team to speak in one unified medical voice.
You will work cross-functionally to develop and enable high quality scientific exchange about the science and clinical application of our portfolio. You will support the execution Congress strategy and management, high impact resources for external scientific exchange, and develop internal and external education.
What will you do?
- Develop and execute strategic medical communication plans that align with overarching medical affairs strategy and objectives and therapeutic area needs.
- Create and ensure all medical communication content is high quality, regularly updated, accurate, and readily available for external use by identifying and leveraging the most appropriate communication channels for various external audiences.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency and alignment of scientific messaging.
- Develop and maintain medical affairs training curricula and content specific to disease, product, and therapeutic landscape to be used for onboarding and ad hoc training.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful medical affairs execution at medical congresses.
- Develop and manage congress materials and educational programs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with relevant internal stakeholders including Medical Affairs and Clinical Development to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment on key medical communication objectives.

What minimum qualifications do we require?
- Advanced Clinical/Science degree or professional credentials required (PhD, PharmD, NP, PA, MD/DO)
- 3+ years of experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry in Medical Affairs
What additional qualifications will make you a stronger candidate?
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Rare disease, allergy/immunology, hematology/oncology, or dermatology experience preferred
- Organizational awareness including experience working cross-functionally and in global teams
- Capable of taking a hands-on approach and willing to “roll up one’s sleeves”
- Knowledge and experience with adult learning principles
- Demonstrated self-starter and team player with strong interpersonal skills
