We're seeking an Audience Development Manager to join our innovative Bloomberg Live Experiences team. In this role, you'll work closely with the Head of Audience, Project Manager, and Government Relations coordinator to recruit senior executives and government leaders for premier in-person events, manage VIP groups on-site at the Qatar Economic Forum and develop relationships with key stakeholders to create world-class experiences for those attending.
We'll trust you to:
- Assist in the recruitment of senior executives and VIPs for the Qatar Economic Forum
- Help maintain relationships with local stakeholders and government entities in order to achieve specific event goals
- Manage audience invitation and confirmation lists for internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor and answer inbound queries from the QEF inbox
- Work closely with marketing on the execution and crafting the communication and nurturing strategy for the Forum
- Assist in developing and updating Forum guides and communications
- Develop, maintain and nurture a subset of the VIP audience including global CEOs, partner guests and/or government leaders
You'll need to have:
- 3-6 years working in events, marketing, government relations or client management
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce, and familiarity with other registration or lead generation systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Products, in particular, strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Proficiency working with technology collaboration tools and ability to pick up new technologies easily
- Strong attention to detail and good judgement when handling and processing sensitive information
- Comfortable cold-calling and communicating with senior executive teams and government agencies facilitate their attendance to QEF
- Knowledge of government protocols and a strong knowledge of regional institutions, corporations and government entities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be a team player and work across time zones with global counterparts
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects and manage multiple stakeholders quickly and efficiently
- Proficiency in Arabic is required
