Are you passionate about servicing clients and exceeding their expectations? In this position you will be able to put all your skills to work and help develop existing relationships and the growth of the client book across the region.

BlackRock increases its footprint in Budapest and establishes a new centralized team, the Wealth CE Sales Hub, who will promote the full spectrum of alpha, index and alternatives products, solutions and services to Wealth and Asset Managers. iSW clients span institutional investors, global and multi-national banks, wealth managers and advisors.

We are seeking an experienced Associate to join the newly created Wealth CE Sales Hub as a French speaking relationship manager who will cover clients in France, Belux and the Nordic region.

Key responsibilities include:

  • As an Associate Relationship Manager, you will help build connections with our client groups; improve and grow sales across our platform, including ETFs, alternatives, mutual funds and bespoke solutions, in order to deliver aspirational financial results measured by AUM, net new assets and revenue targets.
  • Contribution to the delivery of annual target of net new assets, generated from existing and new clients
  • Execute on a new data-driven sales strategy, actioning lead campaigns related to focus funds and product segments
  • Champion the adoption and commercialisation of Portfolio 360, BlackRock's state of the art portfolio analysis tool
  • Supporting the development and execution of account strategies jointly with team- or account leads
  • Partnering with subject matter specialists and senior leadership across the functions to prioritize partner demands
  • Handle day to day business flow and deliver service excellence (pre-trade guidance, product comparisons, cost analytics) in a controlled and complaint manner
  • Collaboration and information sharing with other iShares & Wealth sales teams
  • Maintain and develop dialogue with respective product development and marketing departments
  • Deliver product presentations to clients via phone, video conferences and quarterly country visits
  • Arrange client meetings and conference calls with Portfolio Managers or Product Specialists
  • Organise events & seminars in partnership with Marketing and Event Management teams
  • Ensure that all regulatory and legal requirements and standards are met, including achieving MIFID II Information Provider status

Knowledge/Experience:

  • In-depth knowledge about financial products and especially mutual funds and ETFs - preferably with validated experience in selling investment products to sophisticated investors and handling client relationships
  • Ability to take account ownership and strategically develop relationships; position investment ideas and other valuable services generating sales and assets
  • Strong understanding of capital markets and the regional asset management industry
  • Outgoing nature who puts client-interest first and thrives in a highly dynamic and ambitious environment
  • The individual must be an upbeat self-starter with professional pride and a dedication to perfection and improvement; she or he is a standout colleague with a "can-do" attitude and a pragmatic flexibility; further, the successful candidate will be organized and entrepreneurial, possessing outstanding verbal and written communication skills in at least French and English (additional language is considered a plus)

Skills / Qualifications:

  • University degree in business administration, economics, finance, or in another field.
  • CFA, CIIA and/or CAIA would be of advantage but not preconditioned
  • Shown ability to handle complex projects involving different business groups and to assist the business in implementing solutions across the broad range of BlackRock products and services.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Extensive experience in MS Office suite including Word, Excel, Power Point
