About this role
The Vice President, Investments Recruiter will be accountable for talent attraction and recruitment for BlackRock's Investments business. The successful candidate will need to be creative, flexible, solutions oriented, and a great team-player with the ability to develop relationships amongst key business stakeholders and HR colleagues. They will report into our Talent Acquisition Lead for Investments and serve as a prominent representative of BlackRock.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute customized candidate recruiting plans, partnering closely with the candidate sourcing team, recruiting operations, and hiring managers to achieve the best results possible.
- Establish and maintain meaningful relationships across business leadership and internal key cross-functional stakeholders (e.g. Recruiting counterparts, HR, Compensation, and Mobility teams).
- Be a subject matter expert on market trends, industry activity, and best practices in recruitment across the Investments Industry and provide valuable insights to internal teams to enhance recruitment process.
- Ensure seamless and transparent communication with internal stakeholders and candidates throughout the entire recruitment process.
- Ensure that we avoid bias in our interviews by implementing and overseeing a competency-based interview approach for all searches.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation on all candidates, searches, and recruiting activities.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in an in-house or agency recruiting role preferably focused on Investments hiring.
- Experience with mid-size or large, global, public companies with complex compensation programs, relocation packages, and matrix structured businesses.
- Proven track record of successfully executing in a dynamic, high-touch recruitment environment.
- Proficiency in recruiting technology, including Workday and LinkedIn Recruiter
- Able to work well with and without direction, intellectually curious and always seeking improvement.
- Adaptable and proven success at developing strong relationships in a short period of time.
- Able to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
For New York City only: The salary range for this position is $135,000 - $170,000. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
