Role Overview

The Dynamics Solution Center sits within the CX Transformation pillar. We are seeking a highly-organized and collaborative Scrum Master to oversee the development and all related activities for our Microsoft Dynamics platform evolution. The Scrum Master will facilitate daily stand ups, handle sprint planning, and resolve blockers within the team. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in agile methodologies and scrum techniques, with excellent communication and team leadership skills. Ultimately, the Scrum Master should be able to foster a collaborative and transparent environment, ensuring the team's progress towards the set goals.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, and retrospective meetings.
  • Plan and assist with the implementation of Scrum frameworks and Agile principles.
  • Ensure the team adheres to Scrum theory, practices, and rules.
  • Help the team to avoid or navigate roadblocks and interferences that may hinder project progress.
  • Facilitate discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution among the team members.
  • Work with the Product team, especially on backlog refinement and maintaining the product backlog.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, creating visibility of and reporting status to stakeholders.
  • Assess the Scrum maturity of the team and organization and coach them to higher levels of maturity.
  • Ensure a conducive environment for the team, enabling members to work efficiently and effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Experience in implementing, customizing, and integrating Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions
  • Proven ability to lead Agile teams, foster collaboration, and empower team members to be self-organizing
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills
  • Ability to effectively manage conflicts and remove obstacles that might hinder the team's progress
  • Experience working in a global team across many time zones and cultures
  • Familiarity with tools like Bright Idea, ADO and Smart Sheet for tracking progress and managing dependencies
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics architecture and deployment process
