You are:

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years hands-on experience developing complex enterprise software systems.


  • Strong programming skills in Java


  • Experience with Spring and Maven


  • BA/BS in Computer Science from an accredited university


  • Knowledge or interest in finance


  • Excellent investigative, problem-solving and communication skills


  • An ability to translate real business problems into technical solutions

Good to have:

  • Experience with frontend technologies and the Angular framework is a plus


  • Knowledge and experience developing and working with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Sybase)


  • Experience developing using NoSQL and distributed storage technologies (e.g. Cassandra, HBase)


  • Understanding of Linux environments and scripting languages


  • Experience with CI/CD workflows and cloud technologies


  • Knowledge of Python or Perl


  • Familiarity with telemetry tools


  • Experience developing large-scale distributed software systems and streaming systems using open source distributed frameworks (e.g. Ignite)

Our hybrid work model

BlackRock's hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all. Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
