Fundamental Equities (FE) sits within BlackRock's Portfolio Management Group (PMG), which encompasses Fundamental and Systematic investing across Fixed Income, Equities and Multi-Asset Strategies. The Fundamental Equities business is a key division at BlackRock with over $228bn of assets under management, across 70+ strategies and over 220+ investment professionals. The Fundamental Equity teams use traditional analytics to pick stocks and assemble coherent, deliberate and diversified portfolios. Through cutting edge technology, sophisticated models and embedded research, our investment management approach provides superior performance for our clients and is an important part of the BlackRock brand.

About Product Strategy
Product Strategists are serving as a link between portfolio managers and our clients globally. We work closely with portfolio managers and use our deep understanding of products and markets to make the investment process more relatable to our clients.
We are extending our Core Product Strategy team in Budapest to support the FE Sustainable & Transition Solutions Investment platform. The Core Product Strategy Team serves as the innovation hub of the team's production of timely and effective marketing materials and response to product related client inquiries. Our new hire will be responsible for servicing and developing the FE Sustainable & Transition platform to meet market demand, regulatory requirements and address clients' need.
Role Profile
Sustainable and Transition expertise to address the platform needs. Responsibilities include:
- Understand European, UK and US Label requirements to best guide the teams through their application and servicing. Specifically, SFDR, ESMA, Febelfin, ISR, SDR, BVI and SEC rules.
- Follow regulation changes to anticipate platform evolution required.
- Be proficient in FE Sustainable Investing (SI) and Transition Investing (TI) methodologies and attend internal meetings on governance.
- Sustainable Hub management - Maintain and Update the internal Sustainable Hub and central Sustainable resource for all PS. Contents include: RFP language, Regulatory content, Process & methodology documentation and Aladdin sources.
- Maintain the Sustainable platform decks and narratives quarterly as it evolves. Create new content slides when required to demonstrate our Sustainable & Transition capabilities.
- Platform Sustainable characteristics: Maintain, update & evolve the FE Master doc with details on Sustainable and transition funds characteristics.
- Competitor analysis: Monitor market trends, AUM and flows on anything Sustainable and Transition related. Develop data expertise through ownership of the Sustainable competitor deck and Morningstar one-pager.
- Manage the Sustainable inbox for any internal or external requests.
- Maintain, update and evolve Aladdin workspaces to pull ESG and Sustainability characteristics. Focus on report standardization and automation to develop client reports at scale.
- Understand Aladdin Climate and its potential use-cases for the investment platform.
- Link FE with PMG Reporting & Engagement initiatives to achieve consistency across Active.
- Track client interactions in order to extract industry trends and statistics. Be able to present them on a regular basis to the team and management.
- Work with Compliance and the sustainable committee to approve collateral through Red Oak.
You should have:
- 3+ years' experience in financial services, preferably with focus on equity markets and/or sustainable investments
- University degree in business administration, economics, finance, or in another relating field
- Excellent communication skills across both verbal and written mediums. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel and ability to develop familiarity and skills using proprietary technology. Tableau and PowerBI is a plus
- Strong data management and manipulation skills
- Strong attention to detail, a sense of urgency around deadlines and an ability to multitask
- Proactive, problem-solving attitude supported by the ability to effectively combine outputs from different sources of technology/systems
- Keen interest in global financial markets; be up to date on macro events and market trends
