BlackRock's US Wealth Advisory business manages the firm's relationships with US retail investors and financial advisors. Representing a full suite of strategies from iShares ETFs, Alternatives, Mutual Funds to SMAs and sub-advisory relationships USWAs mandate is to deliver One BlackRock to third-party intermediaries like RIA's and Financial Advisors from wirehouse, regional and independent firms.
Role(s) Description
Due to our continued phenomenal growth, we are actively seeking senior, client-facing sales professionals with a proven successful track record of engaging with Financial Advisors to identify, develop, partner on and own client relationships. The US Wealth team is seeking to hire across several roles outlined below. All roles will be based in a USWA hub office (Chicago, Princeton, Boston, Atlanta, San Francisco) with an expectation of travel varying by role.

- Hybrid Market Leader/Wholesaler: responsible for all aspects of client relationship and driving sales through all channels (RIA, Independent, Wirehouse firms) within assigned Market Team. Market Leader will deliver expertise to financial advisors, collaborate with other sales partners to develop deep relationships and drive results across the entire breadth of BlackRock's products (ETF, MFs, SMAs, Alts, Models).
- Models Specialist: responsible for accelerating the growth of Model Portfolios across our client base. In this role you will have discrete client coverage focused on selling a broad range of Model Portfolios to Financial Advisors across various channels while demonstrating ability to be subject matter expert on Models and being held accountable to specific territory sales goals.
- Portfolio Design Specialist: responsible for accelerating sales growth and deepening relationships with Financial Advisors by helping to streamline and scale their investment process through portfolio construction, portfolio scaling, providing model rebalance insights and assist with rules-based model customizations.
- SMA Specialists: responsible for accelerating the growth of Separately Managed Accounts across our client base. In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert across full range of BlackRock SMA offerings, partner with field sales teams to deliver our solutions to clients and provide exceptional service to clients.
- Alternatives Specialist: responsible for developing client relationships and educating Financial Advisors on the benefits of investing in the Alternatives while positioning BlackRock's suite of AI products across USWA's entire client base. This role should demonstrate subject matter expertise, will have discrete client coverage and will also partner with field Alts Market Leaders/Externals to drive Alts business.
- Wealth Solutions Specialist: This role is a core member of the Market Team responsible for accelerating growth of all products and solutions in the Frontier client segment while demonstrating comprehensive profiling, sales opportunity identification, ability to build and develop a client base of financial advisors and ability to educate clients on BlackRock's robust digital platform
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop deep relationships across all aspects of an advisor's business
- Deliver fiduciary and investment insights through portfolio construction conversations
- Be consultative business partners to help them navigate markets, portfolios, business issues, etc.
- Demonstrate mastery of BlackRock products and resources
- Collaborative approach to partner with various internal colleagues to deliver all of BlackRock's resources and solutions to the client
Skills and Qualifications:
- BA/BS required. Advanced degree, CFA, CAIA, CIMA are a plus, but not required
- Minimum 3+ years sales experience within asset management, wealth management, or the financial industry more broadly is a must.
- Passion for markets, investing, portfolio construction, advisor practices with a commercial mindset.
- Strong communication skills with ability to connect and build relationships with internal partners and external clients
- High level of self-motivation ability to work independently with modest supervision
- strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize and collaborate vertically/horizontally in a fast-paced environment
- NASD Series 7 and 66 (or 63 & 65) required.

For San Francisco, CA Only the salary range for this position is USD$100,000.00 - USD$110,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
For Princeton, NJ, Chicago, IL, Boston, MA and Atlanta, GA Only the salary range for this position is USD$100,000.00 - USD$110,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
