Job Duties: Conduct portfolio valuations, performance calculation and analysis; calculation of Net Asset Value (NAV) using appropriate accounting systems for institutional separate accounts. Write SQL queries for maintaining and analyzing data within the accounting system and related tables. Work closely with all departments of BlackRock to ensure accuracy of the Net Asset Value (NAV) calculation and performance. Maintain client relationships effectively by supporting sales team in servicing clients. Prepare and provide extensive reconciliation with custodian banks and accounting agents to prevent/resolve Net Asset Value (NAV) and performance discrepancies. Maintain BlackRock's relationship with third parties such as custodian banks, accounting agents, consultants, and auditors. Assist in re-engineering BlackRock's operating environment that includes developing specifications for transaction processing, streamlining existing processes, and participating in various automation projects to enhance productivity and controls. Participate in the training process of newly hired professionals and interns. Prepare, review, and provide ad-hoc reports to clients or custodian/accounting agents as necessary. Participate in testing and implementation of accounting software updates straight-thru-processing and research and reconciliation tools. Work as active lead member on the project Outsourcing Chief Investment Officer project. Work actively to enhance tools such as Accounting and Performance (APM).

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any field), Information Systems Technologies, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as Analyst, Investment Performance; Business Analyst, or related. Must have three (3) years of experience with: Writing simple and complex SQL queries to support valuation processes to enhance client experience; Investment accounting principles to complete Net Asset Value (NAV) and performance calculations supporting portfolios monthly for complex outsourcing Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) funds; Validating portfolio performance calculations and ensuring compliance with GIPS standards; Analyzing and interpreting large data sets to research and resolve issues or client inquiries; Reconciling data between internal systems and client service providers and researching and resolving complex exceptions or accounting issues; Utilizing software applications, including Microsoft suite of products (Power BI, Excel, Visio and others) and Aqua Data Studios; and Working on re-engineering operating environments including developing specifications for transaction processing, streamlining existing processes, and participating in various automation projects to enhance productivity and controls. Must have two (2) years of experience with: Investment management products and asset types, including but not limited to ETFs, mutual funds, fixed income, equities, derivatives, and alternatives; Experience in creating monthly/quarterly management metrics for senior management to help drive business decisions.
