About this Role:

The Global Marketing and Direct Businesses Operations team within BlackRock is seeking an Analyst, Measurement & Analytics to join the team. This Analyst will be a key contributor to the advancement of data and analytics capabilities across Global Marketing, supporting the optimization, measurement and reporting of marketing performance across the organization. The role will be responsible for working with individuals across marketing teams in support of our COO team's vision for centralized performance management and operations.

The ideal candidate will be motivated by a fast-paced, dynamic and collaborative environment, and bring a blend of analytical skills and creativity to the team. They will have experience with data, analytics and related technical competency.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the team's data infrastructure - help automate and drive efficiency in usage of data from various sources, to be leveraged for reporting and analysis.


  • Contribute to attribution analyses, tying marketing activity to commercial outcomes.


  • Produce reports summarizing KPIs and performance trends for marketing leadership.


  • Manage relationships with 3rd party vendors that supply brand health and other client insights


  • Work with 3rd party market research vendors to analyze and prepare reporting about brand performance and our overall brand health across all brands and client segments.


  • Deepen relationships with cross functional teams to identify data needs, gaps and identify data solutions

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in data reporting/analytics; ability to synthesize across multiple data sources a plus


  • Familiarity with asset management and financial services


  • Keen interest and understanding of B2B marketing strategy and marketing measurement


  • High analytical/conceptual thinking acumen to solve business problems and articulate key findings to senior leaders/stakeholders in a succinct and concise manner.


  • Ability to project-manage effectively and manage several concurrent projects through collaboration with team members.


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to build and retain strong working relationships.


  • Organized, detailed-oriented and strategically focused.

Technical Competencies

  • Experience in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint


  • Experience with data visualization/dashboarding techniques (Tableau and/or PowerBI a plus)


  • Experience with Python and/or SQL


  • Ability to develop familiarity and skills using in-house proprietary technologies
