The Finance and Strategy (F&S) group works to establish BlackRock as a trusted, world-class, global organization by delivering timely, accurate and insightful financial information and analysis. Our team of professionals provides thought leadership across BlackRock's rigorous control and risk management environment to enhance decision making, optimize allocation of firm resources and help achieve the firm's objectives. The Finance and Strategy group comprises several core units that share responsibility for accounting, financial reporting, management accounting, tax accounting, treasury, compensation and payroll accounting, auditing and compliance.

BlackRock is seeking an Administrative Business Partner to join the India Finance & Strategy team in Gurgaon. The India F&S is a microcosm of the global F&S group and is responsible for engaging with functional/business partners to advise and offer expertise on the fundamental building blocks of how we manage the firm and report our financials. You will help support the team in all administrative matters including managing Leadership visits to the India office, planning agendas, coordinating with global stakeholders and preparing briefing documents with the focus on team objectives and local initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Work closely with the India F&S Head and the regional functional leads in supporting the execution of India strategy, strategic projects and new initiatives
- Support the India F&S in managing communications and team events like townhalls, leadership offsites, planning agenda for leadership visits, reward and recognition efforts etc.
- Prepare and share project management trackers and prepare PowerPoint documents as needed.
- Support any administrative requirements for the region in coordination with the functional leads
- Assist in coordinating and onboarding, including modifying/creating new hire training documents
- Communicate effectively with key stakeholders across global Finance
- Be adaptable to a constantly evolving, changing, and challenging environment
- Embrace and drive the BlackRock principles
Required Qualifications:
- Post-Graduate with 5+ years of experience as an Administrative/Executive Assistant
Desired Skills:
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and comfortable in articulating in written and spoken English.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to engage diverse set of stakeholders, and create a collaborative and approachable environment, especially when working across departments or time sensitivity
- Intellectual Curiosity: Strong grasp of content, business/operating models, interest in technology.
- Problem-solving: Structured critical thinker with superior problem-solving abilities who can organize people under pressure and pull in key decision makers to prioritize issues and respond to clients and senior management
- Project Management: Strong project management experience with complex/cross functional initiatives - the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, navigate trade-offs, adapt to change and work well under pressure and tight deadlines
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel Skills: Ability to quickly produce management-level quality presentations, business memos and can synthesize key information using data and analytics
- Demonstrates integrity and the highest standards, with a commitment to inclusion and diversity
