Make Your Mark:
Reporting to the Billing & Collection Senior Manager EMEA, the Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist will have the responsibility to manage a portfolio of customer accounts in their dedicated ledger. This includes maintaining a high level of customer relationships across EMEA, whilst performing financial analysis as well as identifying & solving collection issues. The ideal candidate thrives in a challenging, international environment, and has good understanding of the software products & solutions.
You'll Get To:
- Monitor aging of the EMEA portfolio and reduce the bad debts through proactive collection techniques
- Practively investigate and resolve customer queries through daily collection calls, emails and documentation
- Carry out collection activities according to specific deadlines
- Review and report on AT again to ensure compliance
- Recommend collection process improvements, document approved changes, trains team members and following estalbished procesdures for processing payments
- Take the lead on assigned projects
- Perform month-end tasks related to AR
What You'll Bring:
Years of Experience in Related Field:
- At least 5 years Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
Technical/Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Self-starter with a driven mindset and a demonstrated attention to detail
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, including the ability to respect deadlines and prioritize workloads when necessary
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to build strong internal and external working relationships
- Strong analytical, hands-on, IT-technical, and problem-solving skills
- Must work in an efficient manner and translate direction into action, without requiring step-by-step direction
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel required
- Colleage level courses in accounting or directly
We're Even More Excited If You Have:
- University's degree in finance or business management preferred
- Experience working with systems and automated applications, SaaS experience preferred
- Proficiency with various accounting software tools. NetSuite, Salesforce and Zuora highly preferred
