Make Your Mark:

The Paymaster Operations Analyst is a critical analytical role within Blackline's Managed Services teams, working to improve, identify, execute, and effectively communicate meaningful trends and opportunities across the business as well as within the customer constructs. This work is contingent upon a well-developed understanding of billing fundamentals, financial analysis, basic accounting principles, intercompany billing, and the ability to ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, laws, and regulations. This position, while maintaining Blackline's quality standards, implements and supports actions that bring about improvements which may include, but are not limited to, customer value, quality, delivery, growth, margin expansion, and compliance.

You'll Get To:

  • Ensure 100% on-time and accurate monthly billing production for all applicable services
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary business and subject matter experts to support the Managed Services Operations to meet functional requirements while maintaining procedural compliance
  • Communicate with and influence both internal and external parties to ensure processes and procedures are developed and delivered in alignment with defined goals and strategic vision
  • Facilitate the Managed Services solutions, working across technologies and geographies in a productive, efficient manner to deliver customer-focused and expected customer outcomes
  • Champion data-driven decision making, and actively collaborate with business partners to deliver business insights, improvement recommendations, and compliance adherence
  • Create and document enhancement requirements to support business process improvements
  • Determine, implement, and evaluate business metrics, process performance, and compliance needs
  • Restructuring and streamlining activities; removal of non-value-added tasks

What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Finance, ideally within large multi-national corporations
  • Prior experience in Intercompany, FP&A, controllership, or other related Finance functions, with a specific focus on Intercompany Billing
  • Critical thinker with ability to understand large, complex data sets and background in risk and control, and/or process improvement
  • Superior analytical, problem solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Intermediate/Advanced skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to convey insights and leadership in identifying emerging risk issues
  • Active listening skills
  • Must be able to build effective working relationships with dynamic, professional teams
  • Basic understanding of financial ERP software
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to exercise good judgement
  • Excellent time management and organizational skill
  • Expert customer service communication skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting/finance, business or technology discipline, or equivalent professional experience
  • Advanced understand of intercompany accounting
  • Basic understanding of general accounting principles
  • Knowledge of robotic process automation tools and processes

Salary Range:

USD $85,000.00 - USD $114,000.00

Pay Transparency Statement:

Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.
