Make Your Mark:

The Brand Strategy Managers will be responsible for implementing integrated campaigns associated with key product lines within BlackLine, to ensure strategic alignment on marketing efforts. This role requires a creative thinking, highly collaborative individual, with a strong understanding of cross-channel marketing, and buying behaviors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in implementing large-scale marketing initiatives, driving growth, and alignment to the global strategy.

Reporting to the Director, Brand Strategy the role will implement the brand strategy for broad product categories within our diverse portfolio of products. They will be responsible for executing brand awareness, accelerating revenue growth, and optimizations of the marketing initiatives assigned to the product group.

In addition to being a broad marketing professional, with experience and knowledge in many layers of marketing, the Brand Strategy Manager will understand digital marketing, demand generation, content creation, and campaign execution. Each Brand Strategy Manager will be responsible for planning, managing, coordinating, executing, and reporting of the integrated product campaigns.

Working cross functionally with multiple department and teams, the Brand Strategy Manager will execute on short-term, and plan effectively for long-range marketing objectives and strategies to drive growth and profitability for their assigned products. They will have a strong understanding of the customer lifecycle and what activities increase pipeline, as well as delivering meaningful experiences through a variety of marketing tactics and channels. The Brand Strategy Manager is responsible for the day-to-day marketing execution, as well as compiling and analyzing performance metrics to inform ongoing optimization.

You'll Get To:

  • Integrated Marketing Campaigns:
  • Lead the planning, development, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, print, and experiential channels.
  • Ensure that all marketing initiatives are data-driven, results-oriented, and aligned with the overall brand strategy.
  • Leverage insights and analytics to optimize campaign performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Partner across all marketing departments to drive integrated campaigns to successful implementation.
  • Collaborate with analytics and technology teams to ensure programs are successful and driving KPIs.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring all stakeholders understand and embody the brand values and vision.
    • Marketing Plans
    • Execute against yearly marketing plans for the assigned pillar group that address key opportunities and challenges for each brand.
    • Ensure plans are inline with marketing strategy and product launches
    • Brand Performance and Reporting:
    • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure brand health and marketing effectiveness.
    • Prepare and present regular reports on brand performance to brand, and the wider marketing team
    • Use data and insights to inform strategic adjustments and future initiatives.

    What You'll Bring:

    Years of Experience in Related Field: 7+
    Education: Master's degree in accounting or finance preferred, minimum bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance related field.
    Technical/Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Strong written communication skills and experience in creating product messaging for a variety of target audiences
    • Ability to work well cross-functionally, rapidly gain an understanding of financial applications, manage multiple projects with changing priorities, and initiate and complete projects with minimal guidance
    • Keen business sense, with the ability to find creative business-oriented solutions to customer problems
    • Proven experience drafting, negotiating and finalizing a variety of client-facing materials
    • Proven success working in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong results orientation with a dedicated client focus
    • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently, meet demanding deadlines, prioritize workflow and adjust to frequent workload fluctuations
    • Ability to work independently while also being a strong collaborator
