About the role

The Demand Generation, Marketing Manager is responsible for executing the Blackbaud Corporate Impact UK marketing strategy and delivering qualified leads, meetings, and opportunities for sales, through engaging demand generation campaigns.

The Marketing Manager will design and deliver campaigns and relevant content to the market and provide ongoing support for marketing initiatives directly contributing to the achievement of the Demand Generation goals. This role is responsible for meeting specific channel and campaign Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and assists in identifying areas of opportunity or optimisation to aid both short and long-term performance.

The Marketing Manager will report to the Marketing Lead, Corporate Impact UK & Europe and work closely with Sales, Marketing Automation, Digital & Operations teams.

What you'll do
  • Develop and implement the Corporate Impact UK demand generation marketing strategy: review objectives, goals, metrics, and define best practises, standards and processes to drive successful customer acquisition and current customer upsell opportunities
  • Manage lead nurturing programs to accelerate prospect movement through the demand generation sales funnel on time and to budget
  • Execute an integrated mix of email, paid social and PPC/Google AdWords and content marketing campaigns for net new lead generation
  • Create compelling and insight-led content for all lead generation activity; emails, whitepapers, social copy, infographics, blog posts with support of Content Marketing Manager
  • Lead webinars or other virtual events, including audience generation, content/topic creation and refinement, logistics, and lead follow up
  • Track and report performance metrics, using this data to continually to optimise campaign performance to drive lead generation, reporting on results including cost per lead, quality of leads and sales


What you'll bring
  • 5 years marketing experience, with 3 years working in Demand Generation SaaS environment
  • Advanced project management & time management skills using software like Asana
  • 2 years experience of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Marketing Automation softwares; Marketo and Salesforce preferred
  • Previous sales enablement experience
  • Exceptional analytical and campaign reporting skills
