We are looking for a Senior Product Manager, Trading to lead the expansion of BitGo’s Prime trading platform. You will drive the development of best-in-class execution services, real-time trading infrastructure, and new trading features. This role requires a deep understanding of institutional trading workflows, market structure, and trading technologies, along with the ability to collaborate closely with engineering, sales, and external partners.
Responsibilities:
- Help define and execute the roadmap for BitGo’s trading platform, ensuring seamless trading across spot, margin, and derivatives markets.
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including market research, strategy, execution, and performance tracking.
- Work closely with engineering teams to build scalable, high-performance trading infrastructure that supports API and UI-based trading.
- Develop and refine trading algorithms, smart order routing (SOR), and execution logic to optimize for best execution across multiple venues.
- Collaborate with Prime Brokerage teams to integrate trading with margin, financing, and custody services, ensuring an efficient institutional workflow.
- Drive partnerships with liquidity providers, exchanges, and market makers to enhance liquidity and optimize trade execution.
- Ensure regulatory compliance by working closely with legal and compliance teams to adapt trading features to global regulatory requirements.
- Gather and analyze client feedback to continuously enhance the trading experience for institutional investors.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of product management experience in trading, prime brokerage, market infrastructure, or fintech.
- Strong knowledge of institutional trading workflows, including order types, execution models, and liquidity aggregation.
- Experience with trading APIs, FIX/REST/WebSocket protocols, and algorithmic execution strategies.
- Understanding of margin trading, derivatives, and risk management concepts.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, balancing technical depth with strategic decision-making.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize market trends, customer needs, and internal data to drive product decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience working directly with institutional clients and trading desks.

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending upon your leveling and location, the compensation for this role averages between $160,000 - $200,000 USD base salary. Equity, an annual performance bonus and the benefits outlined below are also a part of this role's package.
