About This Role   

This position is part of a team responsible for raw material planning for the RTP-Bio Manufacturing Site for clinical and commercial programs. Ensuring an adequate raw material supply is critical in keeping manufacturing on-track to meet patient needs. The incumbent collaborates daily with teammates in the Materials Planning Team as well as cross functionally with stakeholders including Manufacturing, Warehouse, Quality, and Technical Development. Daily activities include resolving raw material issues, managing inventory levels, and coordinating delivery requirements. The ideal candidate will drive successful project outcomes and clearly report project status to their team and manager. The incumbent will work effectively independently, within a team framework, and cross functionally across all business areas and levels of the organization.

What You’ll Do   

  • Responsible for raw materials planning and inventory control activities, including forecasted demand, safety stock levels, expiry reporting, TD forecasting, QC release, and the weekly management of ASCP purchasing suggestions. 
  • Supports tech transfers and the development/maintenance of manufacturing bills of materials, as needed, and ensures that the raw materials are procured and on-hand to support the manufacturing schedule.    
  • Drives new item creation process and Master Data enrichment as required.
  • Creates and updates Formulas, Recipes, Routings and Validity Rules. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Who You Are   

You are a proactive self-starter, capable of independent work, identifying priorities, and collaborating across business functions. You have a questioning mindset and are invested in continuous improvement. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years of relevant experience OR Associate's Degre plus 5 years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma (or equivalent) plus 7 years of relevant experience
  • Highly proficient in Excel, strong skills MS office suite 
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written 
  • Experience in GMP environment 
  • Experience working in supply chain or raw materials planning

Preferred Skills  

  • Oracle R12 experience
