Senior Product Manager, Neurology (f/m/d) - Karenzvertretung bis Februar 2026 

About This Role

The incumbent will play a key role in the development and execution of Biogen’s vision and strategy in the field of rare neurological/immunological diseases (Spinal Muscle Athropy, Friedreich Ataxia) and Mutiple Sclerosis. He/she will be part of the commercial team and work in close collaboration with all relevant local functions (Medical, Digital Marketing, V&A, Sales Force Excellence, Customer Market Insight) and with the regional and global Biogen headquarter. This position will be responsible for the development of marketing programs targeted towards physicians (primarily neurologists, Neuropediatricians), nurses (interface function) and other allied health professionals.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive market exploration in alignment with country strategy
  • Drive screening- and educational-activities towards different HCP target groups in close collaboration with Medical and CMI (Customer Market insights)
  • Excel in Patient Finding Strategies and Projects
  • Ensure alignment with global strategy; measurement of launch effectiveness incl. agreed KPIs; Support scenario analysis
  • Own and lead all Marketing awareness and product activities targeted towards treating physicians as well as network HCPs in close collaboration with local cross functional teams and regional marketing and drive optimal omnichannel orchestration of all activities.
  • Development of local marketing strategy and implementation of measurements, which drive product success
  • Supporting cross-functional (social media) disease awareness campaigns
  • Support and guide the sales teams aligned with the regional/local brand strategy
  • Develop and drive comprehensive internal training plans and ensure continuous competitive readiness
  • Support of the Brand Planning process (ICP – Integrated Customer Plan) and implementation of Customer engagement plans (CEP)
  • Initiate co creation with external stakeholders such as HCPs, etc.
  • Close collaboration with sales e.g. communicate and effectively work out new strategies and activities with / for the sales team, train the SF

Who You Are

You´re a Senior Product Manager by heart with experience in Rare Diseases (optional), ambitious to work-out and execute excellent (digital) marketing strategies. You strive to outperform in a dynamic and complex environment and want to be part of a pioneering team.

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Academic degree in science (pharmacy, biology, chemistry etc.) and/or business administration
  • At least 6-8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical business and a least 4 years brand management experience in chronic disease / specialty area
  • Launch experience in the healthcare industry (ideally in the neurology field)
  • Strong analytical skills which include knowledge in interpretation of Market Research, forecasting, LRP etc. launch experience in the healthcare industry (ideally in the neurology field)
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, ability to work across functions and personalities, strong collaboration and teamwork skills including several internal and external stakeholders
  • Hands on mentality, strong focus on execution and result oriented, self starter, highly self motivated personality – understanding of how technology can help to achieve business goals.
  • German and English on buiness fluent level (verbal & written)

Minimum annual gross salary of 75.000,00 €, depending on qualification and experience willingness to overpay.
