Job Description

The (Senior) Manager, Application Services Lead (ASL) is an experienced, motivated Global Commercial and Medical IT (GCM IT) team member, who will identify, design, and deliver technical solutions for Medical Affairs globally.  

As an Application Services Lead, you must plan and oversee implementation of complex enhancements and incremental updates to domain-specific applications. You understand business needs, develop processes, and use data analysis and industry knowledge to guide stakeholders and design and operationalize solutions. You will guide the resources building solutions and be responsible for technical delivery of solutions. You bring strong expertise and experience in delivering solutions in Life Sciences for Medical business such as medical affairs using various technology platforms and solution vendors such as Komodo and Salesforce products, including Komodo Medical Information Cloud, Komodo Publication Management platform and Salesforce Health Cloud.

What You'll Do 

  • Plan and implement complex enhancements and incremental updates to domain-specific applications. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business teams and IT teams to understand the end-to-end business processes and functional requirements to maximize value 
  • IT System and Release Management of applications, adherence to GxP compliance, data security, and the software development lifecycle processes 
  • Develop and facilitate strategies for system, data and application integration, ensuring that interfaces supporting domain solutions are properly identified, designed, and implemented. 
  • Provide oversight to all related development teams: work with and manage team of internal and external 3rd party technical resources performing analysis, design, configuration, development, testing, and deployment activities. 
  • Ensure maintenance and quality of system documentation 
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of systems development efforts, advise IT and Business management of technology trends and best practices to support domain solutions, and drive implementation of technology strategy and roadmap directions. 

Qualifications

Who you are 

You love solving business problems using technology and are passionate about making an impact for patients. You have a proven track record of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. You have excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with an ability to engage and influence stakeholders. 

Required Skills 

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or the equivalent combination of education and experience required  
  • 8+ years of relevant business technology experience with 3+ years of solution architecture and delivery experience 
  • Experience and knowledge of life sciences industry and medical systems  
  • Experience in managing GxP systems  
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce platform  (Health Cloud)  
  • Experience in managing and enhancing Managed packaged systems, Komodo products is a bonus.  
  • Agile methodology experience 
  • Nice to haves include Salesforce certification, PMP certification, Computer System Validation and Compliance, SAFe methodology 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Please note that this role requires a candidate to be a holder of work permit & residency in Poland.
