About This Role:
As a Sr. Finance Analyst at our biotechnology manufacturing plant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our financial health and ensuring operational excellence. Reporting to the Director of Finance, your mission will be to oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities, all while upholding accurate accounting practices and robust controls. Your expertise will make you the go-to person for all finance-related P2P activities, and you will collaborate closely with the cost and inventory team to ensure precise inventory transactions. Within our dynamic finance team, your contribution will be instrumental in driving financial strategy and supporting our broader Pharmaceutical Operations & Technology (PO&T) initiatives.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead budgeting and forecasting activities, closely monitoring monthly business performance and communicating variances effectively.
- Drive month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring accurate cost classifications and cost of goods manufacturing entries.
- Act as the site finance lead for P2P/Trade compliance queries and activities, partnering with Procurement and AP Shared Service teams.
- Conduct P2P training for site personnel and manage related training materials.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers, monitoring spending, and ensuring compliance with financial requirements.
- Serve as the primary interface for business and external auditors during inventory counts.
- Support local stakeholders with ad-hoc initiatives and analyses to enhance productivity and operational excellence.
- Provide backup support to finance team members and contribute to global finance initiatives as required.
Qualifications

Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent field (MBA or CPA/Equivalent preferred).
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance/accounting within a complex manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
- Proficient understanding of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements would be an advantage.
- High-level competence in ERP Financial systems, MS Excel, Business Objects, and Hyperion.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex problems with a decisive and prioritization-focused approach.
- Strong interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with all levels of the operational team.
- Ability to spend a minimum of 3 days per week on-site, with flexibility for exceptions.
