About This Role
The holder of this position is a vital member of the Corporate Accounting organization with the primary responsibility of overseeing the monthly closing processes for General & Administration functions, including recording accruals, performing accounting-related activities for prepaid areas, and calculating monthly bonus accrual on a global basis.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare accrual journal entries for various G&A functions, including IT, legal invoices, and GBS
- Calculate company-wide bonus accrual on a monthly basis; communicate accrual entries to affiliate finance partners and perform ad-hoc analysis;
- Prepare prepaid journal entries for general subscriptions, insurance, and cloud development
- Perform reconciliations for assigned areas
- Quarterly SOX controls and monthly open CIP review to ensure proper in-servicing for G&A projects
- Assist in account variance analysis and budgeting/forecasting

Qualifications
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree with a major in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
- 4+ years of accounting and finance experience, including prior experience with accruals (will consider public accounting, private accounting background or a mixture of public and private accounting)
- Knowledge and understanding of U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance requirements
- Exposure to accounting for stock-based compensation and other areas of Treasury-related facets
- Experience with Oracle EBS, Hyperion, Blackline, and/or Business Objects preferred
- Every day usage of advanced formulas in Microsoft Excel
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with senior management and across diverse groups
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple initiatives at same time and work under tight timelines
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to see issues to resolution independently.
Additional Information
This role is eligible to off campus work model (3 days in a quarter in Warsaw office).
Please note that this role requires a candidate to be a holder of work permit & residency in Poland.
