Job Description

The Sales Operations Coordinator role involves a combination of strategy development, sales administration, and performance tracking in both private and public market sectors. This role ensures alignment of strategy with operational processes, governance, and ongoing performance analysis to optimize Biogen’s market impact.

The main functions:

Strategic & Commercial Planning

  • Lead and participate in demand meetings and sales forecasting.
  • Develop business cases and dashboards for tracking sales performance.
  • Implement strategies using KPIs to prioritize actions for key customers.
  • Use information bases for customer segmentation and mapping.

Process Management

  • Manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for both private and public markets.
  • Oversee sales processes, including sell-in, sell-out, and stock analysis.
  • Ensure effective execution of SOPs, particularly in public tenders and distributor contracts.
  • Ensure smooth communication and documentation between Biogen and distributors.

Governance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with governance for sales meetings and reporting systems (Front-End Back-End).
  • Create and analyze reports on sales performance, contracts, opportunities, and patient mapping.
  • Monitor and ensure full participation in public tenders and compliance with contracts.

Sales Administration

  • Manage the billing schedule and solve issues related to supply shortages.
  • Track and evaluate distributor stock levels and adjust based on sales data.
  • Oversee and streamline the creation of reports (e.g., daily field force reports, financial forecasts, and stock closures).

Continuous Improvement & Development

  • Identify and address process and reporting corrections to optimize operations.
  • Develop reports and strategic directions for the rare disease market.
  • Work on automating tools and ensuring full integration of information bases.

Qualifications

Who You Are

- Senior professional with more than 5 years' experience in commercial intelligence, strategy and sales administration, ideally with knowledge of the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.

- Excellent command and experience with data analysis and business intelligence tools, such as Power BI | SQL (Back-End | Front-End).

- Strong network of contacts with experience in cross-functional collaboration with business units, finance, access teams and public and private stakeholders.

- Proven track record of success in sales forecasting, performance analysis and driving strategic initiatives with an impact on customer engagement and commercial results.

- Entrepreneurial spirit, able to identify market trends and turn data into actionable strategies that drive company growth.

- Results-oriented, with a strong compliance approach, able to manage governance processes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards in public and private markets.

- Adaptable to fast-paced matrix environments, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Exercises independent judgment in decision-making processes, demonstrating creativity in problem-solving, while fostering a culture of collaboration and diversity.
