About this Role
The Program Director, Lupus will be responsible for significant elements of program strategy and cross-functional execution. This individual, accountable to the PDC Lead as part of Global Product Strategy & Commercialization organization, partners with the PDC Lead to drive cross-functional, long range asset strategy and oversee its implementation. The Program Director will lead strategic initiatives including development of the disease area strategic plan and the lifecycle management process while managing the day-to-day operations of the PDC team. They will work closely with a diverse set of cross-functional partners and provide leadership within the cross-functional asset team.

What You’ll Do
- Manage the day-to-day operations of a Lupus PDC team including create, track, and update monthly PDC Dashboards, Action Log and Risk Registry; Drive program goal planning and execution including identification of key strategic issues and decisions; Manage team agendas and meetings in collaboration with PDC Lead
- Support a Lupus PDC team in preparation for successful launches of our asset and lead relevant PDC sub-teams (LCM, device, etc.) to develop strategies for maximizing the asset in the short and long term
- Lead the Lupus PDC communication team to ensure effective execution of communication priorities and plan; update monthly and quarterly asset reports
- Support the PDC lead in the process for development of the Lupus disease area strategic plan in close collaboration with the PDC lead
- Be responsible for issue identification, resolution, and escalation. Drive scenario planning to inform current and upcoming actions and to communicate with internal stakeholders
- Engage cross-functional stakeholders including Legal, PO&T/Manufacturing, Regulatory, Drug Safety, R&D, and Medical to ensure alignment, and facilitate communication across company- may lead additional cross-functional workstreams across multiple disease areas as needed to support the team
- Support the PDC lead in the creation of a high performing team, including measurement of PDC team health, after-action reviews, ensuring diversity of thought in problem solving, driving meeting hygiene, optimizing team processes and decision making

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required; Advanced Degree preferred
- 8+ years in drug development and/or commercialization
- Demonstrated strong analytical and leadership skills, including creative, problem-solving mindset
- Ability to rapidly identify key priorities, align strategic and tactical plans, and motivate cross-functional teams
- Outstanding relationship building and communication skills, including ability to navigate throughout the organization and with individuals at all levels
- Strong project leadership (scoping project goals, stakeholder planning, etc.) and project management skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience establishing and managing highly effective external collaborations, including familiarity with contractual, financial and compliance considerations
- Prior commercial or development experience on late-stage drug programs
