About this role:
The Procure to Pay Intern will be an integral member of the PTP department, playing a crucial role in Accounts Payable, Travel and Expense, Customer Service and Vendor Master data processes. The Internship program is designed for 9 months with rotation between mentioned processes every 3 months. The program, apart from learning the PTP process from different perspectives, will allow to use overall knowledge gained on the University accounting classes and will show how it is to use the book knowledge on real-life examples and gain necessary experience to work in the Finance functions in Shared Services.

- Review received documents from suppliers or affiliates to ensure completeness and accuracy;
- Enter invoices and other accounting documents into Oracle ERP in accordance with internal procedures and policies;
- Preparation and analysis of regular and ad-hoc accounts payable reports;
- Communicate with business partners and third parties as needed to resolve invoice inquiries or discrepancies;
- Support Accounts Payable team with other invoices processing related activities and sub-processes.
Travel and Expense
- Audit employee expenses as per the T&E policies (global and internal);
- Provide internal customers with support and guidance in Travel & Expenses process;
- Assist with external and internal controls in Travel & Expenses process;
- Notify the managers/payroll about unexpensed/own transactions;
- Provide the bank with information related to unassigned transactions.
Customer Service & Vendor Master Data
- Verifying the Oracle invoice status, resolving holds;
- Providing payment breakdowns/remittance advice;
- Recoding (non-PO) and rematching (PO) invoices as requested;
- Identifying payment discrepancies, creating ICMs, raising incidents;
- Vendor Balance Confirmation reporting;
- Creating supplier account in the system;
- Maintenance and update of existing VM records.
Qualifications
Who you are:
You are a student of final year or a graduate (not later than 6 months after graduation) in finance or similar faculty eager to learn and willing to challenge status quo. You have an international mind-set, communication skills and you are a team-player.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in English is a must;
- Proficiency an additional language is an asset;
- Comfortable working in Excel and financial ERPs (i.e. Oracle);
- Experience in MS Outlook is nice to have
- Ability to navigate in multitasking environment
