About This Role
As Medical Liaison Manager in Neurology, you will provide field-based medical and scientific expertise to support patient-centered solutions. In this role, you will engage with key stakeholders in the medical community, foster valued partnerships within the healthcare system, and contribute to the advancement of medical education and scientific exchange. Your expertise will drive data generation initiatives, ensure a deep understanding of disease areas and Biogen’s products, and facilitate the integration of innovative solutions to address patient needs.
What You'll Do
- Facilitate medical and scientific information exchange with the medical community on the diseases in focus through compliant and legitimate interactions with HCPs on the field (clinical presentations, 1:1 interaction, coordination of peer-to peer meetings, etc.).
- Disseminate high quality complex scientific information and provide legitimate and innovative medical education content aligned with the regional/ affiliate medical education concept.
- Gather medical insights from the field, provide key learnings to the regional Medical team on regular basis as appropriate.
- Support therapeutic experts in developing concepts and protocols for SRAs / IITs / registries that support business strategy and ensures its proper internal management.
- Provide expertise to HCPs and other stakeholders who wish to present data on Biogen disease areas and related products.
- Support the development and implementation of the internal training plan, monitor the plan and update knowledge of disease areas.
- Execute national and regional medical projects, strategically engaging internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate leadership in defining the medical plan working collaboratively and in alignment with the disease cross functional team (i.e. Market Access, Area manager, Disease Brand teams, etc.) ensuring the successful implementation of the company’s overall strategy and objectives.
- Stay up to date with therapy advances, current research, medical scientific knowledge and detailed knowledge on Biogen products and disease areas.

With a customer-centric mindset, you anticipate and address stakeholder needs, while your planning and organizational abilities ensure the seamless execution of medical initiatives.
This role is in hybrid work model. Please note that this role requires a candidate to be a holder of work permit & residency in Poland.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Advanced terminal degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP in medical specialty or scientific qualification), or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- At least 3-5 years of MSL /Medical Manager experience in the Pharma industry.
- Medical/scientific experience in the Neurology area is preferred but not required.
- Rare Diseases experience and/or working with in-hospital treatments is valued
- Statistical & data interpretation: Ability to assimilate medical data, present to and discuss with KMEs and other functions
- Strategic acumen: Understanding strategic needs of affiliate organization important for completion of tasks
- Focus on scientific exchange: Excellent interpersonal skills; constant interactions with KMEs, physicians and patient organizations and internal stakeholders
- Communicating effectively: Excellent communication skills; required to present scientific data to academic and non-academic audience
- Fluent English and Polish
- Minimum 60% field dedication
