Job Description

This application is for a 12-week internship role from June - August 2025. Resume review begins in January 2025. 

The US Customer Data & Insight (CD&I) are thought-partners responsible for understanding therapeutic area and brand performance by leveraging structured and unstructured data to generate actionable insights, inform strategy and customer understanding, and execute projects. The co-op will play a critical partnership role within the CD&I team. 

Position Description 

The intern will partner with multiple forecasters to streamline processes, templates and forecasting techniques. Detailed description of role including but not limited to: 

  • Collect, interpret and synthesize insights to generate actionable recommendations to Brand team 
  • Evaluate different Therapeutic Area forecast models and identify areas of improvement 
  • Stay updated on new trends and methodologies in analytics and forecasting and bring innovative ideas forward to enhance the organization's capabilities.

Example projects may include: 

  • Co-creating an executive dashboard 
  • Conducting a couple of analytics projects 
  • Co-developing a forecast 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in finance or related function 
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skill set, including Excel modeling skills; high comfort sourcing, manipulating, analyzing using Excel and other modeling tools, and visualizing data via standard tools/charting methods; ability to effectively present and defend analyses.

To participate in the Biogen Internship Program, students must meet the following eligibility criteria: 

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. 
  • At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date 
  • Be currently enrolled in an accredited community college, college or university 

Education 

  • Master/ PhD 
  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • Enrolled in an accredited Graduate program (including MBA or PhD) 

Location

  • This role is hybrid in Cambridge, MA
