About This Role:
The External Stakeholder Engagement (ESE) & Sponsorships Team Lead is a strategic role at the heart of our Global Business Services (GBS) Center of Excellence (CoE). In this position, you will oversee a dedicated team responsible for facilitating ESE and Sponsorship processes globally, regionally, and locally. Your leadership will drive planning, guidance, and operational support for Engagement and Sponsorship Owners across all functions. By optimizing review processes and enhancing operational support, you'll contribute significantly to our business's efficiency and compliance. Your role is pivotal in managing service risk, improving processes, and ensuring the seamless delivery of services. Within our business structure, you will act as a key liaison, providing both operational guidance and a point of escalation, with the overarching goal of maintaining service excellence.

What You’ll Do:
- Manage and inspire a team of 4-8 Analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Act as a process owner and strategic advisor, driving service delivery to meet and exceed expectations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers, ensuring effective communication and service delivery.
- Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives, identifying and implementing process enhancements.
- Oversee the support for Biogen's ESE tool, managing engagements as individual projects to ensure timely execution.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the ESE tool, providing guidance and resolving complex issues.
- Manage the operational aspects of engagements, including contracting, payments, and closeout procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and support internal/external audits.
- Collaborate with various teams across the organization, including Commercial, Corporate Affairs, Medical, and R&D.
- Onboard and train new team members on ESE and Sponsorship processes and tools.
- Create monthly reports to provide insights into activities and monitor service volume.

This role is in hybrid work model. Please note that this role requires a candidate to be a holder of work permit & residency in Poland.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- University degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience; advanced/graduate degree preferred for some disciplines.
- 4-6 years of experience in administration or operational roles, preferably within the Pharma/Biotech industry.
- Proven people management and cross-functional project management experience.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is mandatory.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with senior management.
- Exceptional teamwork capabilities with a strong internal company network.
- Influential negotiation skills and the ability to secure stakeholder buy-in.
- Customer service-oriented with excellent organizational skills and process management experience.
- Proficient in workflow programs and MS Office tools.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and adhere to tight deadlines.
- Previous experience with external stakeholder engagements and sponsorship processes is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in leading and implementing Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Expertise in managing complex projects with a focus on service delivery and risk management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce and interpret service performance reports.
