Job Description

The Data Capability Lead is accountable to the customers and stakeholders within the US commercial organization to deliver data & analytics services accurately and consistently.  The candidate will be hands-on in driving data-related initiatives and data exploration, ensuring data accuracy, quality, and accessibility across the organization. The Data Lead will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and ensure data is enabled for analytics solutions to drive business insights and decision-making.  
We are looking for adaptable candidates with a broad set of technology skills to be able to deliver robust data solutions that leverage disparate datasets, data lake repositories, engineering workflows, visualization and Data Science toolkit.

Key responsibilities
•    Translate complex data problems into conceptual design, create actionable logical datasets and own KPI definitions
•    Define and implement data quality standards, controls, and monitoring processes.
•    Collaborate with business units to ensure consistent data definitions and usage across the organization.
•    Understand data relationships and triage data related questions from the business
•    Maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
•    Partner with Master Data Management function for data enablement
•    Work with SME in business teams such as Sales, Marketing, Market Access & Reimbursement, Field Excellence & Operations, Advanced Analytics and Customer Insights to understand and document their analytical and data needs and requirements
•    Understand the end-to-end architecture for data storage, management, and processing and work with IT on data integration efforts across multiple systems and ensure scalable solutions
•    Collaborate with IT in building logical models, with solid understanding of data and reporting use cases.
•    Champion data literacy and promote a data-driven culture across the organization
•    Act as a liaison between technical teams and business functions to ensure data is effectively used to solve business challenges

Qualifications

Required Skills:
•    3-4 years of experience in data analysis, data management and analytics.
•    Experience in data analysis, data quality and understanding of logical data architecture.  
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to deep dive and explore new datasets
•    Strong proficiency in SQL (Snowflake), ETL tools and data modeling.  Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
•    Knowledge of Cloud platforms like AWS suite, modern data storage layer like Snowflake and visualization tools such as Power BI
•    Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with senior stakeholders. Experience with Pharma datasets, eg: claims and marketing data and knowledge of commercial analytics (sales, marketing) preferable
•    Strong business acumen, problem solving, interviewing and analytical skills with a solid understanding of Data and BI

Education:
•    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
