This application is for a 6-month student role from January - June 2025. Resume review begins in October 2024.

Biogen is seeking a digital content production co-op for our Corporate Affairs department. As a co-op, you will be responsible for assisting our digital and storytelling team with various projects that will include brand campaigns, internal communications, visual storytelling and design for digital media (including social), as well as assisting with video production projects and requests. We’re looking for someone with an enthusiasm for storytelling who can thrive in an energetic corporate environment.

Position Description

  • Support corporate communication campaigns and projects across Biogen. 
  • Create authentic and compelling communications materials as needed, including writing stories, drafting social media content, newsletters, external communication materials, handouts, web pages and brand materials. 
  • Work with video team to assist in shooting, editing and producing videos for a variety of uses, channels and needs 
  • Assist in cataloguing and maintaining digital assets 
  • Brainstorm creative ideas for compelling Biogen content

  • Completed at least one year of undergraduate studies 
  • Experience using a content management system (CMS) 
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) 
  • Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, Photoshop. After Effects preferred.) 
  • Strong written and verbal communication is essential 
  • Ability to recognize story potential and independently develop creative assets. 

To participate in the Biogen Internship Program, students must meet the following eligibility criteria: 

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. 
  • At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date 
  • Be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university 
  • Have a graduation date no earlier than September 2024 

Education

  • Undergraduate student who completed at least one year of program
