About This Role:
As an Associate Director IT, Veeva Quality Docs & Training, your leadership will be instrumental in spearheading the deployment and management of vital applications, Veeva Quality Docs and Veeva Vault Training. In this role, you'll ensure top-notch service delivery across the entire lifecycle—from project inception to enhancements and support. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, technical architects, and project managers, you'll drive improvement to these new modules that align with our strategic IT goals. You will be the linchpin that brings together business needs with technological solutions, thereby enhancing our operational excellence and contributing significantly to the organization's compliance and training capabilities. Situated at the intersection of IT and business, your role is pivotal to upholding our commitments to quality and efficacy within the life sciences industry.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead the development, deployment, and support of application services aligning with business and user requirements.
- Oversee all activities related to Veeva Vault Quality Docs and Vault Training, ensuring excellence in delivery and alignment with financial objectives.
- Provide strategic guidance to stakeholders on leveraging application services to fulfill business goals.
- Define and implement a robust governance framework, including metrics and service delivery optimization.
- Actively foster employee engagement, mentorship, and professional development within your team.
- Build and nurture high-performing teams, aligning with IT strategies and fostering collaboration.
- Evaluate and align talent with organizational needs to create a constructive work environment.
- Facilitate dialogues with stakeholders to pinpoint challenges and opportunities addressable through technology.
- Spearhead technology investment assessments, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial targets.
- Manage IT delivery to meet business priorities, ensuring quality outcomes, on-time delivery, and budget adherence.
- Lead contract negotiations and foster third-party relationships to guarantee successful project executions.
- Drive the adoption of IT standards and explore opportunities for innovation.
Qualifications

Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or IT-related discipline.
- 10+ years of relevant experience, including leadership roles in IT or related fields.
- Demonstrated knowledge of GxP, Data Integrity, Systems Compliance, and other regulations relevant to Quality Systems Management.
- Proven experience in the life sciences or biotech/pharmaceutical industry
- Practical experience with Veeva Quality and Training Vault systems.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record in team building and people development.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience managing vendor contracts and third-party relations.
Preferred Skills:
- Relevant industry certifications or advanced training in related fields.
- Experience in managing cross-functional and geographically diverse teams.
Additional Information
The base salary range for this position is $157,000 to $216,000. Base salary offered is determined though an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
Regular employees are eligible to receive both short term and long-term incentives, including cash bonus and equity incentive opportunities, designed to reward recent achievements and recognize your future potential based on individual, business unit and company performance.
