About This Role
The Associate Director, Field Medical Systems Lead oversees the North American Medical Affairs organization’s CRM, Field Systems Digital Innovation, and Field Communication capabilities. Responsibilities include all aspects of governance, design, execution, and support for all field teams (Specialty Care, Rare Disease, NeuroPsychiatry, Immunology, etc.). This role will require close partnership with all field leadership teams and Medical Director Leaders to ensure tight alignment between information collected and disseminated through our CRM system and the business unit strategy. This position will work closely with CRM and Field Communications Specialists in collaboration with Business Intelligence & Operations.

What You’ll Do
- Provide strategic leadership and prioritization for our Field Technology in close partnership with the leadership of our field teams. Develop and implement the vision and strategy for North American Medical Affairs, and create and manage a Veeva Governance Council.
- Engage in long-term planning for major CRM enhancements and technical capability building in close partnership with our IT partners. Regularly lead “Lessons Learned” and “Best Practice” sharing sessions to assess and bring forward learnings to future programs.
- Enable enhanced field feedback for improved collaboration between field and the Medical Director’s Office to drive HCP insights and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Regularly enhance and deploy field communication capabilities for clear and compliant access to material and information for our field medical teams.

Qualifications
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree is required.
- 7+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience is required.
- Headquarters-level experience within Medical Affairs is required.
- 4+ years of Veeva CRM experience is required.
- Experience with systems design and integration is required.
- Strong accountability and independent decision-making abilities is required.
- Analytical skills and experience evaluating options objectively is required.
- Strong executive presence is required.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, is required.
Preferred Skills
- People management experience is preferred. (this position will eventually have direct reports as the team grows)
- Product launch experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams is preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM strategy, field technology, and content compliance is preferred.
Additional Information
The base salary range for this position is $159,000 - $219,000. Base salary offered is determined though an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity. Regular employees are eligible to receive both short term and long-term incentives, including cash bonus and equity incentive opportunities, designed to reward recent achievements and recognize your future potential based on individual, business unit and company performance.
