About This Role:
As a Senior Analyst in our dynamic GBS PTP team, you will be at the heart of our financial operations, ensuring the meticulous handling of third-party invoices across various affiliates, primarily focusing on LATAM markets. This pivotal role requires a profound understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) processes and a comprehensive knowledge of market-specific accounting and taxation regulations. Your expertise will support our dedicated team, including Analysts, Senior Analysts and AP Manager in navigating and resolving complex inquiries that demand extensive expertise. You will fit into our overall business structure as a critical enabler of efficient financial operations, contributing to the organization's success by optimizing our PTP processes and ensuring compliance.

What You’ll Do:
- Process supplier invoices into Oracle for assigned GBS markets, adhering to Service Level Agreements and standard operating procedures, with a focus on LATAM region.
- Handle supplier invoices for dedicated affiliates in compliance with local accounting rules and process requirements.
- Tackle complex inquiries for dedicated affiliates according to process specifications.
- Conduct diligent monitoring and follow-up on AP balance sheet unreconciled open items, aiding in resolution.
- Oversee sub-ledger aging reports, identify and analyze related issues, and implement corrective and preventative actions.
- Partake in month-end close activities for assigned GBS markets, including AP & PO sub-ledger reconciliations.
- Provide support to other P2P team functions as per backup plan.
- Respond to external and internal audit queries for GBS markets, ensuring SOX control compliance within PTP SOX defined responsibilities.
- Foster collaboration with GBS entities/customers to facilitate continuous improvement and standardization of processes.
Who You Are:
You are a finance professional with a knack for precision and a passion for efficiency. With at least three years of experience in an accounting function, you are well-versed in the intricacies of finance and AP operations. Your fluency in English and Spanish enables you to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment. You thrive in roles that require both analytical acumen and collaborative engagement, and you are eager to apply your Oracle ERP skills in a global business services or shared services center setting. Your proactive approach to problem-solving ensures that you can navigate complex situations with ease and contribute to continuous improvement within the team.
This role is in hybrid work model. Please note that this role requires a candidate to be a holder of work permit & residency in Poland.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting function.
- A solid understanding of Finance and AP operations.
- Prior experience in a GBS/SSC and an international financial environment is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Oracle ERP systems is an advantage.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is mandatory.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven track record in process improvement initiatives.
- Fluency in Portuguese would be an advantage.
