Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company

As our Product Operations leader, your mission will be to dramatically increase the quantity and quality of software delivery and design execution across the company, leading to better customer experiences and business outcomes. You will do so by building a program that drives adoption of best practices and tools, facilitates sharing of learnings across teams, and proactively manages conflicts and dependencies. This role requires independence and initiative, and the ability to manage change effectively with people at all levels across the organization.
  • Develop and mature the way we build, design, and launch products at BILL
  • Improve the Product Development Lifecycle process and Design Operations practices, and own ongoing management
  • Be the organization evangelist for both internal and market-leading industry practices and tools, and driving their adoption across our teams, including design systems and collaboration tools
  • Partner with engineering and design teams to drive delivery and outcome excellence, ensuring we deliver for both speed and quality
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams as the primary point of contact to improve communications, enhance visibility into product roadmaps, design timelines, and outcomes
  • Lead strategic efforts to improve team processes, collaboration, and communication between product, design, and engineering teams
We'd love to chat if you have:
  • 7+ years of experience in product operations and design operations, or a related field
  • Experience developing complex operational and change initiatives, and partnering effectively with stakeholders to drive adoption
  • Developed and fostered trusted relationships cross-functionally to enhance overall product and design strategy alignment
  • Experience with roadmapping tools such as Productboard, program management tools such as Asana, Jira, Confluence, and design tools like Figma or others is desired
  • Deep empathy for small business customers and their day-to-day lives, and curiosity to understand their needs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong organizational skills and ability to influence at all levels
Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed below. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits. The estimated salary ranges noted below roles in the specific geographic zones

Zone 1- San Francisco Bay Area CA (includes HQ), New York City, Seattle

$184,700-$230,900 USD

Zone 2- CA (Non San Francisco Bay Area), Austin TX, Massachusetts

$166,200-$207,800 USD

Zone 3 -Utah (includes Utah office), Houston TX (office), Florida, North Carolina

$157,000-$196,300 USD
