Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company
  • Lead the design and user experience for critical areas of our product, contributing to the entire design process-from prioritization to launch.
  • Navigate ambiguous problems with confidence, prioritize high-impact work, and align cross-functional teams around clear objectives.
  • Focus on the details while striving for simplicity, tying together interconnected projects to make complex tasks intuitive and approachable.
  • Leverage customer insights to inform design decisions by exploring solutions, creating prototypes, and analyzing feedback/data to uncover friction points and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering leads to translate company strategy into prioritized roadmap initiatives and identify the most valuable problems to solve.
  • Advocate for users by continuously iterating on and evolving core products and experiences, identifying areas for improvement, and delivering meaningful value every day.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and designers, to implement and refine design system components while learning best practices for system governance.
  • Actively participate in design critiques, provide constructive feedback, and iteratively improve designs based on peer and stakeholder input.
We'd love to chat if you have:
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in product design, with a proven track record of leading design projects from concept to launch. Previous experience in FinTech or a related industry is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental design principles, including layout, typography, and color theory.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar, with a strong interest in learning and improving technical design skills.
  • Viewed as an accountable and humble cross-functional partner. Experience working with developers and PMs building and shipping products.
  • Basic knowledge of accessibility best practices and a desire to contribute to inclusive design efforts.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions.
Nice-to-have:
  • Having a visual design background and a strong understanding of software engineering workflows and principles is encouraged.
  • Has experience and comfort with presenting to leadership.
  • Experience in FinTech / the financial industry.

The estimated base salary range for this role is noted below for our office location in Draper, UT. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in BILL's bonus and equity plan. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.

$97,100-$116,300 USD
