About the role
As VP Finance, ISC Manufacturing, you will be responsible for financial leadership in support of all ISC manufacturing operations including advising activities related to budgeting/forecasting, cost control, productivity, pricing analysis, investment planning and management reporting. The position also provides guidance on internal controls and audit compliance matters as well as serving as a liaison between business unit personnel and our integrated supply chain partners. This role will interact directly with senior leaders across these functions, other business units, and external customers.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Leadership in all aspects of financial management including development and implementation of budgets, forecasts, annual operating plans and strategic plans; provide insightful analyses and interpretations of monthly results and variances to corporate goals
- Work closely with Plant Management teams to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on supporting supply of products to meet business demand, improve profitability, drive cash flow and working capital improvements while ensuring effective asset utilization
- Provide timely, accurate and meaningful financial information to enable informed decision-making by both the ISC leadership team, BU Leadership Teams, and senior corporate executives
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics and operational efficiency indicators (i.e., productivity, overhead absorption, cost per unit, headcount efficiency, etc.)
- Drive cross-functional collaboration and innovation to improve overall operational effectiveness, standardize processes and reporting, enhance value-added insights, and reduce costs
- Maintain appropriate internal controls over financial reporting and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations
- Direct preparation of monthly and quarterly supply chain productivity, operating results, supporting commentary/drivers, and other key performance metrics and financial results
- Lead manufacturing strategic planning processes and ongoing budget, projections to ensure balances long-term strategy and short-term delivery
About you
You are a proven leader with at least 10 years of relevant work experience and a strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements. Your ability to lead cross-functional teams and build partnerships at all levels of the organization sets you apart.
You will also have:
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to build partnerships at all levels of the organization
- Experience working within a highly matrixed environment
- Experience working in a manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of SAP
