In this role, you will be pivotal in driving sales and expanding our market presence, particularly within the Hernia and broader Surgical portfolio. Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, ensuring our solutions meet patient needs. The position requires extensive travel and close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve our ambitious growth goals.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Establish and nurture strong, trusting relationships with customers to guide them in selecting the most suitable solutions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, tender processes, and after-sales support.
  • Utilise CRM systems for reporting and to meet set objectives.
  • Analyse and develop strategies to expand market share within the Surgical portfolio, with a focus on Hernia products.
  • Represent BD with professionalism and innovation, maintaining a positive image with customers, competitors, and colleagues.
  • Dedicate approximately 80% of your time to customer visits, workshops, conferences, and other travel-related activities.

About you:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Science or Business, or possess equivalent relevant experience.
  • Have a nursing degree with clinical experience, ideally within operating room nursing, Hernia, infection prevention, or Biosurgery.
  • Bring commercial experience from the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and senior management.
  • Demonstrate strong consultative selling skills, with experience in value-based discussions and strategic account planning.
  • Proven ability to build lasting relationships with key customers in complex clinical environments.
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English
