As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for attaining sales goals established by the Company within the designated territory and
budget. You will be responsible increasing sales of current accounts and establishing new accounts and for presenting, educating, and
providing in-services on the processes/procedures of properly using the Company's products to surgeons, OR staff, and other individuals.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Sells the entire product line to current and new accounts.
  • Advises customers of new and current pricing, back orders, and company policies.
  • Executes comprehensive in-service of products to all concerned individuals.
  • Plans sales calls on a continuous basis, leading sales time effectively.
  • Develops detailed knowledge of all products and clinical data.
  • Informs Regional Manager of significant market changes and competitive activity.
  • Achieves timely, mutually satisfactory solutions to customer complaints.
  • Analyzes customer needs and builds solutions.
  • Maintains company automobile and company property.
  • Completes and processes BD Peripheral Intervention reports including but not limited to: sales summary reports, expense reports, monthly product tracking reports, account targeting reports, and complaint reports in accordance with established procedures and policies.

About you: To be successful in this role, you require:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum two years outside sales experience or equivalency
  • Proven interpersonal skills
  • Product knowledge and all features and benefits of BD Peripheral Intervention products
  • Surgical procedure knowledge, adequate to illustrate our product benefits
  • Basic anatomy
  • Medical and surgical terminology
  • Detailed understanding of needs/analysis selling
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
  • Understands contract administration
  • Must be able to travel often
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license with 3 years of consecutive driving history and meet BD's auto safety standards.
