Job Description Summary

As Tender Specialist the flawless candidate will report to the Tenders and Pricing Manager. The figure will deal with the E2E tender procedure with complete autonomy, both for below-threshold and above-threshold procedures, reporting tenders, reporting any critical issues to the Business Unit, and coordinating the various BUs involved in order to find all the vital documentation for the presentation. Preparation of the tender documentation and management of the entire post-tender procedure.

About the role

As Tender Office Clerk reporting to the Tender Office Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for all the activities related to Offers, Tenders and Awarded Tenders. The role involves operations vital to the accurate drawing up of offers for the participation in tenders finalized at supplying the company products in view of the acquisition of the highest level of contracting.

This is a supporting role within the organization and a key player within the team. They will establish and reinforce a company culture defined by dedication to customers, quality, performance, results, collaboration and accountability.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Autonomous management of the tenders assigned , ensuring the correctness of all phases of the tender procedure; in particular through:
  • Check with the Business Units of the tenders of interest
  • Accurate analysis of the specifications
  • Monitoring compliance with deadlines and the activities required of all the players involved, ensuring the execution of the tender in total safety
  • Management of administrative, technical and economic documentation
  • Updating company archives with a specific focus on awarding contracts
  • Updating of contracts and preparation of documentation in the post-tender phase (additions, extensions, improvements, etc.)

About you

  • At least 2 years previous tender experience
  • Excel proficient
  • Knowledge of regional tender databases.
  • Knowledge of the European Procurement Contract
