BD is currently recruiting a Field Operations Team Leader. You will lead a team of field engineers ensuring customer satisfaction across the Western Europe region. You will be responsible for managing meeting the department's goals and targets and maintaining and continuously improving the support provided to all our customers.

With our technical capabilities, the Medication Management Solutions (MMS) team are able to manage multiple systems and our operational capabilities enable us to have medications available when and where needed, reducing inefficiency and waste for nursing and pharmacy teams.

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead the service team and participate to deliver high quality, efficient & professional, on time and within budget services relating to: Pre & post-sales support, Maintenance & Repair, Inventory management, and other Services
  • Build a high performing team with the right mind set to support the business and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with the regional service leader to develop team strategies that align with the BU's regional and local business goals. This will help us provide excellent service, drive revenue growth, save costs, and improve operational efficiency, all while keeping our customers happy.
  • Build customer relationships to provide an outstanding customer experience and focus on growth opportunities and maintain high levels of satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities of improvements (Efficiency, productivity, etc) and execute them in a project mode.

Preferred profile

  • Minimum of Bac+2/3 or equivalent higher education in electronics certification for electromechanical devices, preferably in the medical field.
  • Proven experience of minimum 5 years in a field function at a managerial level.
  • Strong leadership, people & customer management experience is critical.
  • Fluent English is required for this position (internal and external training and communication in English).
  • Demonstrated IT skills in : Performing installation and support of interface software, In the use of integration tools, Server-based solutions

The role will require travel across the WEST Region (France, Belgium, Netherlands & Luxembourg) and at time Europe in support of colleagues & customers as required. Travel to meetings training courses and conferences will be necessary from time to time.
