Tax Specialist

Job Description Summary

Prepare information for Federal and state Taxes to the IRS (SAT), Elaborate information as well payments to the government (INEGI-Economy Agency, etc.), Ensure the compliance for the Mexican fiscal agencies, Responsible for the internal and external audits, Hands on for VAT and ensure is recovered in a monthly basis.

Job Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Prepare and present state and federal taxed, validate the information via reports and work in any requested by the company.
• Manage and keep the fiscal data organized, up to date and available
• Guarantee the compliance providing accurate documentation to the government entities, corporate tax consolidation.
• Guide the internal departments/areas for internal and external audits
• Ensure the B/S accounts are reconciled and analyzed, work in the corrective actions to ensure we have no balances over 60 days
• Ensure the service providers are following the fiscal rules (REPSE)
• In charge for any request/audit for any fiscal authority.
• Ensure the compliance for all the taxes and VAT recovery.

• Bachelor degree in accounting preferred not limited.
• 3 or more years of experience in the maquiladora industry
• JDE knowledge (preferred).
• Ability to analysis and planning of all activities related to the position.
• Good skills for verbal and written communication to all levels.
• Commitment to the position and attention to detail and follow up to conclude any task for compliance to internal/external audits as well all the federal dependences.
