Our Work Life in Today's Climate

We are a collaborative group that is fun and growing. Currently, a majority of our staff is based in Durham, NC and Pleasant Prairie, WI but working from home during COVID. Managers and Team Members will decide together the best working arrangements after COVID restrictions are lifted.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Software Delivery Lead who will be responsible for cross-functional product teams executing against the product roadmaps and strategy. You will also be responsible forthe product quality, security, maintainability, and usability. As a delivery lead, you will collaborate with the architecture, engineers and product owners to determine the scope and timeline of the delivery program or release. Once the guidelines have been established, you will monitor staff and ensure everyone finishes their tasks and moves towards completion in an agile methodology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and performance management of delivery teams including software engineers, quality engineers, hardware engineers, and data analysts.


  • Establish the team and processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality releases of several applications that meet established product and technology roadmap timelines.


  • Recruit and retain a high performing team.


  • Provide regular performance communication, mentorship, and coaching for staff.


  • Participate in the technical strategy of new features and assist teams in producing design artifacts, as needed.


  • Collaborate on the development of methods and process in an Agile (SAFe) environment for key development areas such as design reviews, work break down, code reviews, quality metrics and others.


  • Facilitate inter- and intra- team communication and collaboration to meet the demands of complex pharmacy automation solutions.


  • Work with approved vendors to extract future technology direction, understand market trends and to form strategic partnerships.


  • May include some third line support to diagnose and resolve production issues, assist teams in removing obstacles, and ensuring overall success of product deliverables.


  • Provide a culture supportive of optimal individual contribution and teamwork.


  • Experience building cloud native application in a public cloud platform such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.

Skills and Experience

  • Strong leadership, organizational and motivational skills as applied to multiple technology disciplines.


  • Minimum 10 years of total leadingsoftware delivery or managing delivery of technology


  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing and effectively overseeing the operations of complex, highly available applications


  • Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle and methods, software testing procedures, and configuration management


  • Experience leading cross functional, geographically dispersed and technically diverse product development teams


  • Work closely with product team members to understand the business goals and communicate them to the team


  • Experience managing resource allocation, across product lines and teams


  • Must have exceptional soft skills and ability to collaborate within a cross functional team that includes engineers, project managers, product managers, operational staff, executive leadership, etc.


  • Ability to work well in a team and deliver and receive feedback in a constructive and collaborative way

Beneficial Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft .net, cloud first, Kafka, kubernetes, CDC, angular, frameworks and patterns


  • Experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical industries


  • Experience with a mix of product solutions on-prem, hybrid, and cloud transition projects


  • Experience working with and leading product(s) in a mixed platform and infrastructure environment


  • Experience managing cross-region, multi-product development teams
